Sunset Yoga for a Cause
Dear beautiful community,
A few weeks ago, I lost one of the most inspiring people I have ever known-my aunt, Mary Munro Head.
Mary lived with MS (multiple sclerosis) for the majority of her life, a devastating disease that gradually took away her ability to communicate with and control her body. Despite everything she faced, she remained one of the kindest, most caring, and radiant spirits I have ever known.
She was my hero, and every time I was with her, she reminded me not to take the seemingly little things for granted—the freedom to move, speak, connect, and experience life through our bodies. In her memory and honour, I would love to bring our community together for a special outdoor yoga class to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis research.
There have been incredible advancements in MS research and treatment since Mary was first diagnosed, but there is still so much more work to be done—and so many individuals and families whose lives continue to be deeply affected by this disease.
YOGA FOR A CAUSE
Date: Monday, August 31st, 2025
Time: 5:45 PM-6:45PM
Location: Chaudiere Falls Lookout
I will be guiding a one-hour outdoor Vinyasa Flow, and all proceeds from the class will be donated to support MS research.
Class Donation is $25, and all proceeds will be donated to MS Canada
Please bring your yoga mat, water, and a small towel. I invite you to arrive about 15 minutes early so you have time to settle in before we begin.
It would mean so much to me to have you there—to move together, honour Mary’s beautiful spirit, and help create hope for those living with MS.
If you aren’t able to attend, you can still support this cause by making a donation or sharing the event with your community.
With so much love and gratitude,
Genevieve
Cant attend the class but want to make a donation?
100% of proceeds will be donated to MS Canada.
Your support will help connect the MS community to each other while on their journey, raise awareness of the impact of this disease and help those living with MS to enjoy a better quality of life.
