Slow down. Soften. Come home to yourself.
I'm Genevieve, a somatic facilitator, yoga educator and retreat leader. I guide people back into their bodies through the quiet, ancient practices of yoga, so the mind can finally rest.
Yoga is less about the body, and more about the mind and heart that live inside it.
I've been practising for close to twenty years. I lived and studied in India, began in Ashtanga Vinyasa, and over time my practice grew quieter, towards Yin, Yoga Nidra, meditation and the philosophy that holds it all together.
My background in psychology shapes how I teach. The body is a beautiful doorway: when we slow down enough to feel it, stuck emotion and energy begin to move, and something truer can come through.
Whether we meet on a mat in the Gatineau Hills or on a retreat by the sea, my hope is the same: that you feel safe, unhurried and deeply cared for.

Teacher trainings: learn to hold space, not just teach poses.
For ten years I've trained teachers in the subtle practices: the ones that ask you to slow down, listen and guide others into stillness. My trainings weave lineage and philosophy with psychology and clear, practical teaching skills.
