JULY 10 - 12, 2026 | KLIMAT YOGA WAKEFIELD
Yin Yoga is often described as the art of stillness - a contemplative, meditative practice that invites us to slow down and truly listen.
But beneath the long-held postures lies a deeper alchemy, a subtle weaving of fascia and breath, structure and sensation, nervous system and energy.
This 40-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training is an immersive, embodied journey. Through a transformative 3-day in-person immersion and lifetime access to comprehensive online modules, we explore the meeting point of ancient philosophy and modern science — yin theory, meridian wisdom, fascia research, nervous system regulation, functional anatomy, and alchemical Daoist five element teachings.
Designed for both dedicated practitioners and yoga teachers, this training gives you practical tools to deepen your personal practice and a clear, intelligent framework to teach with confidence and depth.
You will leave not only understanding Yin Yoga…
but embodying it.
Meet Your Teacher
Genevieve Munro is an E-RYT 500+ yoga teacher, educator, Reiki practitioner, and Thai Massage therapist whose work lives at the intersection of science, soul, and subtle energy.
With over a decade of experience leading trainings, retreats, and mentorship spaces around the world, she specializes in guiding students into deeper states of awareness through Yin Yoga, nervous system regulation, and embodied practice.
Her approach weaves together Traditional Chinese Medicine, functional anatomy, Buddhist psychology, and somatic healing — offering a perspective of Yin Yoga that goes beyond the physical into the energetic and emotional body.
Having lived and studied extensively throughout Asia, Genevieve brings both depth and authenticity to her teaching. Her work is grounded, experiential, and rooted in nervous system regulation — helping students move beyond technique into a direct experience of presence, balance, and inner connection.
What sets her apart is her ability to create spaces that feel both safe and expansive — where students can slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect to the intelligence of their own body.
WHAT MAKES THIS TRAINING DIFFERENT
This training goes far beyond the physical practice. Explore the emotional, energetic, and mental dimensions of Yin Yoga, including mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Learn to hold space in a way that is grounded, intuitive, and profoundly impactful.
Whether you want to teach professionally, integrate Yin into your existing offerings, or simply bring more calm and clarity into your life — this training opens the door to a more intentional, meaningful way of living and serving others through yoga.
Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this training weaves together meridian theory, the Five Elements, and the subtle movement of Qi to bring Yin Yoga to life as a practice of transformation and embodied healing.

This training is deeply rooted in the lineage of modern Yin Yoga, honouring the teachings of Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley, and Tina Nance, while evolving through the lens of trauma-informed and somatic-based practices.
It bridges tradition and modern science — weaving together meridian theory, fascia research, and nervous system regulation to offer a multidimensional approach to Yin.
Over the past several years, this work has supported over 500 facilitators, many of whom have gone on to share these teachings through classes, workshops, and trainings in their own communities.
